What a crazy, crazy time it is! Last week was absolute chaos but great, i spent the week at CHA (Craft and hobby association) at the big trade show in Anehiem. While it was a huge success for us it was great going as the buyer and meeting all my vendors, I even ran into alot of people i used to work with. Most importantly i finally got to meet one of my idols Tim Holtz and managed to get a photo. While it was a great event I am somewhat relieved it is over.

Izzy is runninge me ragged as usual - i often wonder if everybody has children this energetic! Every day she says a new word or does something new. Her favorite thing to do at the moment is give "high fives". We had an awesome day yesterday, my crazy father in law rode 64 miles on his bike to our house then we drove him back to LA and had a scrumptious bbq. Ross was trying to teach himself to make animals out those longs balloons, very funny. We finished off the day with a nice long walk down the marina, Izzy felt fast asleep on the way home - we wore her out!

Otherwise I will be enjoying my mummy and Izzy day tomorrow since I missed out last week because of work, she must have missed me because she has been very cuddly - which I love!

Etsy Owl Tags

I hadn't bothered with Etsy in the longest time but recently cranked out some really simple tags, and thought i was wasting my time but 1 day after i posted these someone bought them so I was somewhat happy and motivated to start making some more things. Its always the projects where you aren't really trying to hard that end up being more successful...

Disneyland At Christmas Time

It was my sister Angelas first trip to Disney, we found this awesome little Christmas concert which was the best part of the whole day!

Not a very good photo - i will have to do a retake. This is a small shadow box i made for Izzy's room that says "Grow little flower". I thought it was appropriate since she is such a peanut still. The idea was not mine though, it was lifted from a magazine but i thought it was too cute and had to make it!

WoW - I am slacker!

I almost forgot i had this thing! Well its been a crazy few months and quite honestly i spend alot less time on the internet these days which is a good thing. I'm way to busy most of the time plus I'm on the computer alot at work so i don't usually spend too much time on it at home.

Izzy has sooo many teeth now its scary and she is saying alot more words and just being cute and silly! We just celebrated Hanukkah and will be celebrating Christmas soon. I'm so excited for my sister Angela to arrive tonight from London. I know we will do lots of fun family activities but I am also looking forward to having some time together just the two of us - I think I deserve it - actually I know I do! I think I have just been feeling somewhat down recently because i miss my old friends and although I'm happy for my husband to be reunited with his old friends, moving has been alot harder on me than I thought it would have been. I guess I am just missing my family and my friends even more because its the holidays but I'm very fortunate to have awesome, amazing in laws!

Settled In

Hard to believe its been almost 6 weeks since we arrived here in California. Ross and I were saying to each other just the other day that its still hard to believe we are not going home to Chicago as this is our new home. Our new place is set up (for the most part..). Ross is enjoying his new job, I'm still at home with Izzy and we are going to try and keep it that way, cant imagine being away from my baby for 40 hours a week again.. Im going to post some pics of Zion National Park in Utah.
